On a large project an Arborist would have probably been appointed to carry our a tree survey, so it’s basically their responsibility to find out about TPO<\/a> trees on the site and include this information in the arboricultural report.<\/p>\n If a tree survey has not yet prepared, the Landscape Architect would normally contact the Local Planning Authority, find out who the tree officer is and send a plan with the site boundary shown asking for info of any trees with\u00a0TPOs within that site.<\/p>\n Generally, when you do a site visit and you see mature\/veteran trees, it\u2019s a hint that a TPO might be in place and you should definitely investigate it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The person responsible to find out about TPO trees on a large project is usually the sub-consultant who has prepared the tree survey.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":11056,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[153,19],"tags":[193,194,195,191],"yoast_head":"\n
