After making sure that the affected person is safe and treated accordingly after the accident (either by the office’s first aider or by external medical assistance) the incident would be recorded in the accidents log book which is kept in the office, regardless of its severity. If the injury forced the person to be off work for 7 days then the HSE would also need to be notified about the incident.
